Quotation1 Wish for peace? Prepare for war. Quotation2

The Project of Destruction (or TPoD for short), is an event made by Votex-Abrams. Taking place two days after the events in "Kobloc City", Steve Johansson decides to contract an outside souce to do his work, unknowingly fueling something more dangerous.

There has been a comic that has seen two revisions, both of which have since been deleted. The comic, unfortunately, has seen little progress.

Background[]

Plot[]

(The story here might not match the comic as the comic is both old and unfinished. Also this is written here for the comic to follow should progress resume.)

Rebuilt and angry[]

The event takes place two days after the attack in Kobloc City. Steve Johansson repairs Wall-F and is mad at him for being defeated by a "simple tank" and for his reckless plan to draw Reece out of hiding that caused civilian casualties. As such, he contacted ASWS's CEO Raymon Som earlier and agreed to help him capture Reece in exchange for information. Johansson sends Wall-F off to help ASWS. Instead, he decided to find Reece himself and went back to finding Zeve as he had done in the past. In the meantime, Tobison Alkno and Vohantex were tasked with capturing Reece.

Fight between three sides[]

Wall-F finds Zeve all by herself and calmly asks her to tell him where Reece is. When she refused, the two entered a brief fight that ended with Wall-F damaging her gun arm and her ability to fly and threatening to obliterate her with Chaos Torrent. Reece then warps into the area and knocks Wall-F down, sending the energy ball into the sky, which attracted Vohantex's attention, who was within viewing distance. Wall-F and Reece fight with the former getting the upper hand, and before he could land any additional punches, Vohantex arrives and fires an adhesive round while ramming both Reece and Wall-F.

Learning from his experience two days prior, Wall-F keeps his distance from Vohantex while Reece lands in an adhesive puddle locking him in place. Before Vohantex could contact Tobison, Wall-F smashes him into a tree, severely damaging him. Wall-F then takes advantage of the situation Reece is in and attempts to land free hits only for them to be blocked by Reece and shortly after, Wall-Z flies in after noticing the same energy ball and directly kicks him in the face and the two then enter a fight. Elsewhere, Tobison Alkno is approached by Drakojet who questions him about being in the middle of nowhere and agrees to help find Vohantex after receiving his last known coordinates. Unbeknownst to all, ASWS had been secretly developing a new robot called YAF-ARH that they scrambled to make from the Kobloc City attack and had sent it out to hunt for Reece.

Wall-Z loses his fight with Wall-F badly and is almost killed but is intervened by Drakojet, who transforms and fires his guns at him to little effect. While being distracted, Wall-Z "crawls" up to Reece and tells him about a glowing object sticking out of Vohantex, which Reece shortly Chaos controls his way out of the adhesive puddle and rips the emerald out of Vohantex. Drakojet manages to partially harm Wall-F by firing his thermobaric bombs at him but shortly after gets shot down by YAF-ARH, who has entered the area.

Additional company[]

After Reece obtains the Chaos Emerald from Vohantex, he enters his super state, knocks out Wall-F from a single kick to the head, and promptly heals Drakojet's injuries. YAF-ARH then attempts to stun Super Reece to little effect and quickly chases him in a brief skirmish with Super Reece trying to disable YAF-ARH. He attempts to pull out his circuitries only to get knocked off when YAF loses speed and opens fire on Super Reece only for him to fly out of the way and tossing him to the ground unknowingly knocking out Wall-F again from the explosion. ASWS, who has been monitoring the situation, then sends a K-9 unit as a last-ditch attempt to capture Reece.

Super Reece heals Vohantex from his injuries despite past actions. Due to still being under orders to capture Reece, Vohantex fires his adhesive round to incapacitate him, only for Reece to warp the shell under Vohantex, causing him to be immobilized. Super Reece is then questioned by Wall-Z about Zeve, who he had forgotten due to all the fighting, but before he could head to her, the K-9 that ASWS sent arrives, and Wall-Z quickly goes and distracts the K-9 while Super Reece finds and heals Zeve who almost fires her Ion Cannon in his face in panic. Soon after, Super Reece sends the K-9 flying and reverts to normal after believing he had killed it.

Raymon Som then activated Code O6R6 to reroute and revive the K-9, who promptly attacks Reece and Zeve with its Laser Core, with Zeve fighting back with her Ion Cannon. Meanwhile, Vohantex attempts to intervene; however, he's held in place by the strong adhesive and has run out of ammunition. Drakojet shoots his tracks, setting him free, and directly rams the K-9 to little effect. At the same time, Obsidian takes manual override control over the K-9 and immediately kills Vohantex with the Laser core. Reece then takes off his Inhibitor Rings and swiftly decapitates the K-9 unit killing it for good, and the group leaves shortly after. While capturing Reece had failed, for the time being, Obsidian would later re-watch the footage captured by the K-9 to understand Reece's abilities.

Operation Construction experiment[]

During the attempt to capture Reece, Obsidian had sent Spitfire to find and bring Thompson in as a test subject for Operation Construction. Thompson is located in a police chase after smashing a policeman's face after being pulled over for speeding. While attempting to evade the police, an unknown police robot intercepts Thompson and pins him with adhesive stingers. Before he could bring him to the station, Spitfire transforms and confronts the police robot, who gets pushed away as she carries Thompson away, much to the annoyance of the police. Thompson is then placed into a chamber used for scanning items for Digital Contruction which he finds out he is one of many test subjects who had been scanned to test the results of a living entity being scanned for digistruction.

Raymon Som oversees the experiment after previous test subjects either did not thoroughly scan or violently exploded. The test commences, and Thompson is scanned as he begs for it to stop, but they ignore his pleas and activate the digistruction process, and Thompson slowly disintegrates as he cries in pain. Fortunately, he does not suffer the same situation as the test subjects before him. ASWS calls the experiment a success. Thompson's data is then stored in one of ASWS's data servers, who, due to his uniqueness of being a living robot before the scan, is allowed to freely roam ASWS's entire database with little to no restrictions.

Elsewhere, Vohantex gets rebuilt and is outfitted with digistruction technology to allow him to effectively have infinite ammunition. However, he's very shaken from being killed and is left alone to recuperate, and during so, he contemplates his loyalties with ASWS and how they had treated him rather poorly in the past.

Reece's capture[]

Several weeks later, Reece, Wall-Z, and Zeve are hanging out on a hillside, theorizing reasons as to why a private company would want to capture Reece. They soon get attacked by ASWS's forces consisting of ten tank battalions, five air squadrons, and several K-9 units commanded by Obsidian and Tracidalu, which they focused their attention towards Reece. While Zeve and Wall-Z attempt to protect Reece and flee the area, they get knocked out, which sends Reece into a blind rage that pushes him to enter his dark form.

In less than two minutes, Dark Reece obliterates all of the ASWS forces on sight with no remorse over the lives he killed. Wall-Z and Zeve recover and manage to calm Dark Reece down, reverting him back to normal only for Reece to be bitten by one of the K-9 units that had survived the onslaught, severely injuring and dissecting him while Wall-Z and Zeve hopelessly watch. Through one of the K-9s, Obsidian tells them ASWS is only after Reece and has no interest in them. During this, Reece manages to toss a Chaos Emerald to Wall-Z and mentions VOTE-X Abrams by name before being dragged off along with all the dissected parts.

Confronting VOTE-X[]

Recognizing the name Reece mentioned, Wall-Z quickly tracks down VOTE-X, who was in the process of getting a new motorhome after frustrations over his last truck. He is quickly beaten up by Wall-Z in an effort for him to know where Reece had been taken to. While VOTE-X remembers Reece, he tells Wall-Z that he does not know where he is, let alone the operation that got him captured. Wall-Z attempts to convince VOTE-X into breaking Reece out of ASWS, but he refuses but tells him of a location he could break into in order to find out where Reece is being held. Wall-Z then leaves to the location and, using his abilities to blend into shadows, sneaks in and steals the information he needs.

VOTE-X then returns to the ASWS base he is stationed at and is called into Obsidian's office shortly after arriving. Obsidian immediately brings up VOTE-X's conversation with Wall-Z and is mad at him for revealing the location as he is capable of monitoring all robots built or working for ASWS, which he pins VOTE-X down while using his tasers, causing great pain as punishment. He then tells VOTE-X to find Wall-Z and lure him into a trap. He refuses, resulting in getting tasered again and locked up for his disobedience.

Agreement Reconsideration[]

After Reece's capture, he is repaired and is held in heavy restraints with his emeralds taken away from him. He is then brought to an undisclosed location along with Raymon Som and several ASWS soldiers to meet Johansson as per their agreement. With the information he stole, Wall-Z discovers the area where the deal would take place and intercepts them while in route but stays hidden. He overlooks the deal as Raymon Som and Johansson discuss about events that happened. When Johansson mentioned that Wall-F interfered with the operation to capture Reece, Raymond decides to hold Reece in containment for longer to experiment with him before handing him over to Johansson.

Furious, he orders Wall-F to attack Raymon Som but is caught off guard by his cybernetics and is quickly subdued by the ASWS soldiers. Raymon tells Johansson that he will get Reece when they are done with him, and he can keep the information that was supposed to be traded until then. They leave after, and Wall-Z reveals himself to gloat at Johansson and proposes a temporary alliance to get Reece out of ASWS's containment. He carefully considers and agrees on the condition that it will be "business as usual" after Reece is broken out. While Johansson refuses to allow Wall-F to assist Wall-Z, he gives the location of where ASWS is holding Reece and hands him the communicator ASWS had given to Johansson to contact them. Wall-Z then flies off.

While flying to the location given to him, he is told by Thompson, who had been watching everything unfold from within ASWS's systems, that he will never get to Reece by himself as he has been watching the facility's security and that doing it alone will likely get him captured. He then tells the location where VOTE-X is locked up as he deems he is the only bot that will increase his chances of breaking Reece out.

VOTE-X Breakout[]

Arriving at the location Thompson had told Wall-Z about, he sneaks into the facility. He finds VOTE-X being in a modification process and waits for the opportunity to break VOTE-X out of the facility. Unfortunately, he is caught and quickly subdued with adhesive rounds. Still, before he would be thrown into a holding cell by ASWS personnel, VOTE-X awakens and violently start slashing everybody except Wall-Z into pieces. He then realizes he's been given a Combat mode and helps Wall-Z free of the adhesive, and the two quickly leave the facility.

Wall-Z then briefs VOTE-X about the whole situation and requires his help breaking Reece out. Due to the treatment he has been receiving, he agrees to help but warns him that ASWS is still monitoring him Wall-Z quickly destroys the monitoring equipment installed into VOTE-X and soon prepares before breaking Reece out.

Unexpected situations[]

Wall-Z and VOTE-X bring Zeve along, and the trio manages to stealthily enter the facility with the aid of Thompson, but they get separated when they are discovered. VOTE-X later finds Reece's containment chamber, where he is held in a device with cables attached to his head. He gets Reece free from the device and attempts to find Wall-Z and Zeve but gets surrounded by ASWS soldiers who open fire on them. VOTE-X quickly takes them all out, but Reece gets injured, much to their shock. VOTE-X tends to Reece's wounds while he realizes that his powers have somehow been drained from him and has to be careful with how he fights for the time being.

Wall-Z and Zeve, on the other hand, find themselves confronting Vohantex, Drakojet, Spitfire, Hyperion. While Hyperion's inexperience gets him knocked out first, Drakojet's superior training and experience allow him to gain the upper hand over Zeve, with Vohantex keeping Wall-Z on his toes due to his adhesive rounds. At the same time, Spitfire tries to not directly harm them. Drakojet manages to pin both of them down and is ordered to kill the intruders. Spitfire and Vohantex refuse to obey. Spitfire tackles Drakojet, using her size to physically restrain him and knock him out. Wall-Z and Zeve recover from the fight and question why they turn on them with Spitfire, claiming she only did it due to the circumstances. She does not want to kill unnecessarily, while Vohantex simply does it for his mistreatment in the past and present. Spitfire and Vohantex then help Wall-Z and Zeve find Reece.

They later managed to locate each other and regroup but need supplies to keep going. VOTE-X finds a digistruction station that can "print" solar chargers for them to use and does so to allow the group to recharge. Thompson then requests for the station to be brought to an open area. After doing so, Thompson physically digistructs to regain his physical form and removes himself from the ASWS system. He thanks Wall-Z for trusting him and quickly discovers his new abilities after entering an ambush while finding a way out.

Surprise Assistance[]

As the group attempt to find their way out of the facility, they encounter a Reece lookalike named Ree-CE. Over the loudspeakers, Obsidian explains what Ree-CE is and what he can do and thanks Reece for the data, and orders Ree-CE to destroy them all. Ree-CE attacks Spitfire and Vohantex first while the others find cover to analyze the situation. Reece explains that knowing his own capabilities, his "faker" can easily wipe them all out with no effort. A point proven when Spitfire gets knocked out next to where they are taking cover, and Vohantex is knocked over. Reece attempts to fight his clone only to break his own hand trying to punch Ree-CE and gets tossed aside.

The others struggle to handle Ree-CE; even VOTE-X in his combat mode cannot cause enough damage. Before they all get blown to pieces, Wall-F unexpectedly breaks in from the ceiling and kicks Ree-CE to a wall. Wall-F then approaches Reece, and instead of just blasting him, helps Reece get back up and realizes his abilities are gone. While he gloats for a bit, he tells Reece he is only helping only because Ree-CE would rob him of the satisfaction of killing him himself. VOTE-X notes that the device that held Reece took his powers away and theorizes that it can be done in reverse, so he and Wall-Z head back to the containment cell to take it apart and jury rig the components to allow Reece to get his powers back. Wall-F keeps Ree-CE busy while the rest fend off ASWS soldiers coming into the area.

VOTE-X and Wall-Z return with a knife-like device, attach its cables to Reece's head and tell him that he would need to stab Ree-CE directly in the head to recover his powers. Wall-Z, Wall-F, and Vohantex work together to restrain Ree-CE long enough for Reece to stab Ree-CE and regain his powers. With his powers returned, he removes his inhibitor rings, and with the help of Wall-F, the pair manages to destroy Ree-CE.

Reactor Meltdown[]

Knowing that ASWS would have copies of Reece's Chaos Data, Thompson suggests they blow the whole facility up in a reactor meltdown. VOTE-X points out that doing so is suicide as the data core is located deep in the facility. Thompson is willing to sacrifice himself in destroying the facility but not before giving VOTE-X a storage device. As the rest find their way out of the facility, Thompson makes his way and breaks into the data core. Despite the intense heat from the reactor, he manages to destabilize the reactor though not before sounding the evacuation alarm.

Aftermath[]

Outside, the group watches as the facility explodes and seven-colored trails suddenly appear and fly off in different directions. Reece is upset that he has to go through the tedious journey of finding the emeralds again and asks if anyone would help him find them, all of whom agree to help. Sometime later, VOTE-X in his motorhome discovers the storage device Thompson had given to him contained his digistructed data. After some equipment tampering, he manages to physically digistruct Thompson back and jokingly acts as if he does not recognize VOTE-X. The two reconnect and enjoyed talking about what happened for the rest of the day.

Despite clear treason and destruction of company property, VOTE-X, Vohantex, and Spitfire were allowed to remain in ASWS but with the punishment of them helping with the infrastructure repairs until completion and being restrained for most of the day. The three complied and served their punishments until all was done. They were then allowed free reign on what to do on the condition of not directly interfering with their operations ever again, or they would suffer termination.

Comic Development[]

The comic was initially drawn digitally, but it was later drawn on paper after an unexpected hiatus. Still, due to the complexity of the overall plot, the number of pages required and the time taken to draw all of it out would take longer than expected to complete. As such comic development has been stopped until further notice.

There have been plans to rework the first 16 pages of the comic, but this was later scrapped, although remade versions of the pages are under consideration.

Trivia[]

  • The Project of Destruction Comic has been ongoing for six years but has yet to be finished and highly likely will never be.
  • "Code O6R6" is a reference to "Order 66" from Star Wars.
  • The Comic was remade twice; both had yet to even conclude.
    • They were later deleted.
  • The current thumbnail used in this page's infobox is using the 2018 iteration of the comic.
  • YAF-ARH's sudden appearance in the comic was what led the creator to "abandon" the comic due to it, in the creator's words, "A total cluster fuck".
    • Ironically enough, the other two versions are still a total clusterfuck because they are rather incomplete.
  • This is the second comic Yoshi's characters have appeared in Votex's comics. With the first being the Attack in Kobloc City Comic.
